Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Apartment Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential community. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who takes pride in ownership of their work. Prior apartment management experience is not required; we will train the right person. The ideal candidate knows how to balance professionalism and people skills—being firm when necessary while maintaining respectful, positive relationships with residents. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, prospects, and vendors Handle leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and assisting with move-ins and move-outs Collect rent, track payments, and follow up on late accounts in a professional but firm manner Enforce lease terms and property rules consistently and fairly Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure issues are resolved promptly Perform regular property walks to monitor cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation Communicate effectively with ownership regarding property performance and issues Qualifications & Skills Strong customer service background Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and work independently Confident communicator who can be both firm and fair when addressing resident issues Professional demeanor with the ability to de-escalate situations when needed Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, property management software a plus) Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual Preferred (But Not Required) Experience in property management, leasing, or real estate Familiarity with maintenance coordination or vendor management What We Offer Training and support for the right candidate A stable, long-term opportunity with room to grow Competitive pay based on experience A role where your judgment, accountability, and people skills truly matter

$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
