General Manager - The WonderBlock J. Fisher Companies

  • On-site The WonderBlock is Ogden's premier mixed-use destination — blending 350+ residential units, a boutique hotel, retail, and office space.
We're looking for an energetic General Manager to serve as the heartbeat of the property: curating experiences, driving foot traffic, and keeping every corner of the block thriving. What you'll do Placemaking & events Design and execute a year-round activation calendar — markets, live music, art showcases, pop-ups, and community programming. Tenant & retail partnerships Build relationships with commercial tenants; co-create promotions and campaigns that drive sales and foot traffic. Resident & guest experience Serve as the "block concierge" — a high-touch resource for residents, tenants, and hotel guests with insider recommendations and VIP perks. Property operations Manage shared services, vendor contracts, and CAM; leverage vertical integration to optimize costs and coordination across asset types. Digital presence & marketing Manage social media channels, digital signage, and wayfinding content; develop the block's brand identity. Community liaison Represent WonderBlock at Ogden City events; partner with local organizations to keep the block a welcoming extension of downtown. Who you are A natural connector — you know everyone in town (or will within a month) Background in hospitality, high-end retail, property management, or event production Genuine affinity for Ogden's culture: outdoorsy, independent, community-driven Self-starter who sees an empty courtyard and immediately sketches Friday night market ideas Skilled at balancing competing needs: quiet residential alongside vibrant commercial Financially fluent — comfortable with pro forma, budgeting, and CAM reconciliation
