Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Property Manager/Administrator to oversee the daily operations of commercial properties. This role is vital in ensuring smooth property management and exceptional tenant relations. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to leasing, maintenance, administrative tasks, and customer service, fostering positive relationships with tenants and vendors. This position offers an opportunity to lead property operations with energy and professionalism while supporting the overall success of our property portfolio. Room for growth in the future given the large size of the real estate portfolio and anticipated future property acquisitions. Duties Show vacant space to potential tenants Draft new leases and amendments Be the primary contact for property-related items including keys, key cards, camera system, online thermostats, HVAC systems and miscellaneous tenant inquiries Coordinate annual inspections for fire systems, backflow prevention devices, etc. Assist accounting group with monthly/quarterly/annual reporting Assist Controller in the review of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements of third-party managed properties Assist or lead some administrative tasks, as needed Skills Must have at least a working knowledge of commercial real estate and, ideally, multifamily real estate Knowledge of real estate loans and/or insurance and/or accounting a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent conflict management skills along with negotiation abilities for lease renewals and contract discussions. Strong customer service orientation combined with effective phone etiquette and relationship-building skills. Experience in facilities management including property maintenance coordination and oversight of contractors.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
