The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, safe, and supportive living environment while ensuring the highest quality of care and assistance for individuals.   • Friday. Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support daily living activities for individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the necessary care and assistance.
  • Foster a team-oriented atmosphere that promotes collaboration and respect.
  • Develop individual service plans in collaboration with healthcare providers, families, and staff.
  • Monitor the well-being of individuals and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Utilize appropriate lifting techniques and equipment, including Hoyer lifts, for safe mobility assistance.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures related to the care of individuals with disabilities.
  • Coordinate transportation for residents to medical appointments, community activities, and other outings.
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the house, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to coordinate care effectively. Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a caregiving role is preferred, including group home or assisted living experience.
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for patient mobility assistance.
  • Understanding of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment is a plus
