To Apply for this Job Click Here We're looking for a detail‑oriented and service‑driven Assistant Community Manager to support the daily operations of an affordable housing community in Richmond, VA. This role partners closely with the Community Manager to ensure smooth operations, strong resident relationships, and ongoing compliance with affordable housing requirements. What You'll Do Support leasing, marketing, resident recertifications, and administrative operations Assist with rent collection, accounts payable/receivable, and delinquency tracking Serve as a point of contact for residents, addressing concerns professionally and promptly Help coordinate resident engagement and retention activities Maintain accurate records and support compliance with affordable housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, HDC, HCR, Project‑Based Section 8) Partner with maintenance staff to ensure timely, high‑quality property upkeep Assist with reporting to track community performance and improvement opportunities What We're Looking For 1+ years of property management experience (affordable housing preferred) Familiarity with affordable housing programs and compliance requirements Experience with property management software (RealPage, OneSite, JD Edwards, or similar) Strong communication and customer service skills Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality Team‑oriented mindset with a resident‑first approach 1457425_1778854770 To Apply for this Job Click Here
