Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Residential Team Leader offers the opportunity to provide leadership in a dynamic, team oriented, residential recovery treatment environment helping individuals along the path of long-term recovery. The Residential Team Leader will work as an integral part of a multi-functioning team that works interdependently with each other.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Provide leadership and maintain responsibility for all aspects of residential service provider management and supervision including: assistance with interviews, on-boarding and progressive discipline. Actively support and participate in monthly staff meetings to ensure continued communication and training between all staff members and leadership. Oversee and ensure that the day-to-day needs of the facility are met including: chore assignments, menus, passes, daily schedule, etc. Maintain primary responsibility for medication program to include medication times, ensuring timely refills and maintenance of medication administration records. Maintain primary responsibility for urine drug screening and breathalyzer program to include a random schedule of screens and follow-up with treatment team on problematic screens. Oversee and ensure that the facility is coordinating with the Residential Coordinator for food and supply procurement. Oversee and assist as needed in new client intakes including: preparation of rooms as well as coordination with admissions and medical staff. Provide leadership and communication to the treatment team on resident progress, behavior contracts and unplanned discharges for all residents to maintain the integrity and fidelity of the program. Facilitate resident discharges and ensure accurate and timely communication with admissions staff. Maintain primary responsibility for room search schedule and coordination to ensure 2 staff are present for searches. Maintain a high level of engagement with all residents to ensure an environment of recovery is being maintained so that everyone's health and safety is well managed. Maintain a positive, professional attitude toward residents, staff, and volunteers. Handle crisis situations in a calm supportive manner. Maintain confidentiality and comply with company, state, federal and
HIPPA, 42CFR
rules and regulations. Participate in the rotating on-call for after hours and weekends. Other assigned duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND
ABILITIES
) Minimum high school diploma or equivalent Certified Peer Recovery Specialist or Peer Recovery Specialist trained with a plan to test Ability to articulate your recovery path and philosophy Supervisory experience preferred Experience working in a residential care setting preferred Valid driver's license Self-motivated and flexible Good communication and organizational skills as well as problem solving skills Ability to maintain program requirements and boundaries with compassion and respect Ability to complete and submit daily documentation and reports
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
