The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Property Manager in all aspects of property management and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our residential properties. This is a a direct opportunity to grow within Limehouse with the expectation to become a licensed Property Manager after a year. No experience needed, but a clean driving & criminal record as well as the ability to pass a Virginia Real Estate licensing exam is required.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the daily operation of the management of all properties in our portfolio. Respond to tenant and owner inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner. Conduct move-in and move-out inspections as well as annual property inspections. Assist with the leasing of properties, including obtaining property photos, listing, and showing the property and processing applications. Assist with preparation of legally compliant lease agreements and related paperwork. Prepare late notices and follow up with tenants for payment of late rent. Oversee the Lease renewal process and assist in processing lease renewal letters and tenant follow up. Assist with overseeing maintenance coordination to ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests and repairs. Work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members. Be on call for emergencies as needed to coordinate required maintenance or speak with clients. Assist the Property Manager and Broker in various tasks as needed. Attend property-related meetings and events and maintain strong relationships with tenants and owners.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, or a related field is preferred. Attention to detail. Experience in property management or a related field a plus. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. This position is primarily Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM but may require additional duties outside of those business hours We are a fun, fast growing, local company with room for professional growth. This is not a remote position and applicants must have the ability to drive a vehicle. This a full-time position with a pay range of $20-25/hr, depending on experience, with comprehensive benefits including bonuses, health insurance, paid time off, and more.
