In this role, you will support adults living with severe and persistent mental illness as they work toward greater independence and full community integration. You will provide leadership, coordination, and direct service while fostering a welcoming, recovery-oriented environment that promotes meaningful participation and growth. As the Clubhouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality, member-centered interactions grounded in recovery principles. You will work closely with Clubhouse members to support improved functioning, health, and engagement in the community, while also empowering them to take an active role in their recovery journey. This position plays a vital role in maintaining program excellence by ensuring compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements. You will help cultivate a supportive space where members can build skills, develop confidence, and pursue their personal goals, while guiding staff in delivering consistent, effective, and compassionate care.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide oversight, coordination, direct service, and supervision of staff and services delivered to clients at Salamander Clubhouse. Provide leadership, program development, and implementation of quality, outcome-based psychosocial rehabilitation services. Direct all services to comply with contractual, grant, and expected performance measurement outcomes. Implement corrective action as required. Provide reports as required to internal and external entities. Assist staff and Salamander Clubhouse members in making optimum use of available community resources, including locating housing, job development/job coaching, and health education for the Salamander Clubhouse members. Provide oversight and assist staff and Salamander Clubhouse members in participation in community-based outreach activities to meet member and program needs. This includes promoting Salamander Clubhouse philosophy, publicizing program services, expanding membership base, and ensuring the inclusion of membership into the community through appropriate linkages to support services and employment opportunities. Assist staff and members in identifying vocational and career development opportunities and providing assistance in job placement, coaching, and crisis intervention. Oversee recruitment, hiring, orientation, training, and supervision of staff. Develop strategies and processes to support staff development and complete annual performance appraisals. Ensure staff accountability for members' work ordered day program delivery and performance outcomes. Oversee skills training, enhancement, and support to members in daily living skills, money management, shopping, cooking, laundry, and other areas of daily living. Accurately document services provided to members in electronic health record system. Ensure staff compliance with reporting and accurate service and progress documentation. Carry out and document quality-assurance activities and reviews of the use of program services. Represent KMHS in developing partnerships with outside agencies in the development of needed services. Facilitates member involvement in the person-centered planning process. Assist clinicians in performing their duties by monitoring and participating in clinical coordination/problem solving between Salamander Clubhouse members and clinicians and other agency programs and community resources. Participate in program development and management tasks. Work with other supervisors and unit managers to coordinate across programs to ensure continuity of clinical care, including assessing and communicating program needs, formulating ongoing program goals, and participating in quality program reviews. Assist in developing and implementing agency policies and solving clinical and fiscal issues. In addition, any other responsibilities appropriate to the position and not specifically listed in the job description.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social services, or behavioral health field. High School diploma or GED accepted with four (4) or more years of relevant experience.
EXPERIENCE
Experienced (minimum 2 years of job-related experience) This position requires driving clients in a personal vehicle on behalf of the agency. Incumbent must meet all agency driving requirements, including being at least 21 years old, having been licensed for a minimum of three years, successfully completing a motor vehicle history check, possessing and maintaining a current, valid driver's license in the state of Washington, and having reliable, insured transportation.
LICENSURE
Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration. Completion of the Washington State Health Care Authority training and approved application for the CPSST (Certified Peer Specialist Trainee) credential within six (6) months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
EDUCATION
Master's degree in psychology, social services, or behavioral health.
EXPERIENCE
Specialist (minimum 5 years of job-related experience) Experience in co-occurring disorders treatment, individual and group therapy, or substance abuse treatment.
