Salary $80,000 - $90,000/year DOE + performance incentives Position Summary VestCapital is seeking a highly accountable, fast-moving Real Estate Asset Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across our residential, hospitality, office, and growing commercial portfolio . This role is responsible for protecting asset performance, driving speedy lease-up, coordinating maintenance, managing tenant relationships, and ensuring strong operational accountability across the portfolio. This is not a passive administrative role. We are looking for an operator who moves with urgency, communicates clearly, follows through, keeps buildings occupied, and creates order. Core Responsibilities Residential Portfolio Oversight Oversee leasing and day-to-day execution across VestCapital's residential portfolio Drive speedy lease-up of vacant units through aggressive marketing, prompt follow-up, showings, and application management Manage listings and lead flow across AppFolio, Zillow, Apartments.com , and other relevant platforms Ensure units are market-ready, well-presented, and priced appropriately to reduce vacancy loss Track leasing funnel performance including inquiries, tours, applications, approvals, and move-ins Tenant Management Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants and prospects Handle tenant communication with professionalism, responsiveness, and firmness where needed Support renewals, notices, move-ins, move-outs, and day-to-day tenant issue resolution Help create a strong resident experience while protecting ownership's interests Maintenance Coordination Manage maintenance requests from intake through closeout Coordinate vendors, internal teams, and contractors to ensure repairs are handled quickly and correctly Track open work orders, aging items, and recurring issues Ensure properties remain clean, functional, and well-maintained Asset & Property Operations Oversee operational needs at Ponderosa Property, VestCapital HQ , and the broader commercial portfolio Conduct regular property walks and identify issues tied to presentation, maintenance, safety, and tenant experience Coordinate vendors and service providers to maintain strong property operations across all asset types Support leadership with asset-level visibility, issue escalation, and execution follow-through Reporting & Systems Maintain accurate information and workflow management in AppFolio and internal systems Provide weekly reporting on vacancies, leasing activity, maintenance status, tenant issues, and property condition Help implement consistent systems, standards, and accountability across the portfolio Ideal Candidate Highly responsive and organized Strong with tenant communication and follow-through Experienced in leasing, maintenance coordination, and residential operations Knowledgeable in tenant/landlord law and regulations Comfortable managing multiple properties and priorities at once Proficient in AppFolio, Zillow, Apartments.com , and related leasing/management platforms Owner-minded, solutions-oriented, and accountable Success in This Role Looks Like Faster lease-up Lower vacancy loss Better tenant communication Stronger maintenance response times Cleaner property oversight Reliable weekly reporting Greater accountability across the portfolio Stronger knowledge of our offerings and projects This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant community-focused organization.
