$23-25 per hour Job Description The Junior Property Manager is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of a residential property portfolio of up to 175 units. This role serves as a primary point of contact for property owners, residents, vendors, and support staff while ensuring properties are professionally maintained and managed in accordance with company policies, Washington state law, and federal housing laws. This role is key in ensuring smooth management processes, delivering excellent customer service, and protecting the financial and physical assets of the communities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in both resident relations and administrative support. Key Responsibilities Support rent collection efforts and maintain accurate tenant ledgers. Help coordinate move-ins, move-outs, inspections, and property turns. Respond to owner inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate records, reports, and property files. Assist with vendor coordination, work orders, and maintenance scheduling. Monitor compliance with lease agreements and community policies. Excellence in property budgeting, reporting, and financial oversight. Contribute to marketing and resident retention initiatives. Qualifications 1-3 years of residential property management, leasing, or related administrative experience preferred. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and Washington State landlord/tenant law (preferred if WA-based). Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Driver's License and Valid Automobile Insurance Proficiency with property management software (e.g., AppFolio) and MS Office Suite. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Customer service mindset with a professional and friendly demeanor.
