Job Description

Job description United Marketing, Inc. is looking for an individual to fill the role of Resident Community Manager for three apartment buildings in Mattawa, WA. The Resident Manager will have the full responsibility of managing daily operations. Tasks include maintaining property rentals, filling vacancies, screening prospective tenants, completing annual resident recertification, and enforcing leases.
Preferred Qualifications and Needed Skills:
Tax Credit, Section 8, affordable housing experience Renovation Experience strongly considered! Knowledge of property maintenance Strong verbal and written communication skills Word, Excel, Outlook, software - OneSite/Yardi etc. Strong communication and personal management skills Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate tenant activities. Collect all rents and other charges due and deposit in appropriate holding accounts, issue receipts to tenants in a timely manner. Manage the purchasing of operating and cleaning supplies for on-site use. Mediate minor tenant disputes and providing regular communication with tenants. Work with residents in processing annual recertification and other information required for income restricted housing annual compliance. Responsible for identifying, communicating, and delegating work orders. Contact tenant following repair to ensure satisfaction with completed work. Inspects properties to ensure the highest standards are maintained; evaluate maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping operations. Schedule apartment viewings with prospective tenants Provide housing applications, explain the application process. Collect pertinent information for move in and move-out processing. Demonstrate ability to understand financial goals, operate property in owner and tenant's best interest in accordance with policies and procedures. Build a working relationship with Regional Portfolio Manager, Compliance Specialist, and co-workers. We are an equal opportunity employer.
