Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Program Manager to lead and oversee operations at a residential group home dedicated to supporting children with disabilities. This vital role involves managing daily program activities, ensuring high-quality care, and fostering a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, extensive experience in long-term care settings, and a passion for empowering children with developmental disabilities. As a Program Manager, you will coordinate staff, develop care plans, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards while promoting a positive community atmosphere. Duties Lead the daily operations of the residential group home, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all programs Supervise and support staff, including training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative team environment Develop and oversee individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs, incorporating best practices in assisted living, memory care, and dementia care Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to residential care, health and safety standards, and licensing requirements Manage budgets, oversee resource allocation, and monitor expenses to maintain financial sustainability of the program Coordinate with healthcare providers for medication administration, nursing services, and specialized therapies such as Alzheimer's or dementia care Foster strong relationships with families, social workers, community agencies, and other stakeholders to support children's well-being and integration into the community Implement quality assurance measures by conducting regular audits, safety checks, and staff training sessions to uphold high standards of resident care Skills Extensive experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes serving individuals with developmental disabilities Proven leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams in long-term care or home & community care environments Strong understanding of care plans development for residents with Alzheimer's disease or dementia-related conditions Knowledge of medication administration protocols and resident safety procedures Excellent operational management abilities including budgeting, resource planning, and regulatory compliance Compassionate approach to working with children with disabilities and their families Effective communication skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals, staff members, residents' families, and external agencies Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with disabilities by leading our dedicated team!
