Position Overview The Property Support Assistant plays a critical field-based role in ensuring our homes are prepared, documented, and maintained to SJA standards. This position supports leasing, property management, and maintenance teams by completing in-person tasks such as inspections, property checks, and coordination of signage and access items. This role is essential to delivering a consistent client and resident experience by ensuring properties are rent-ready, accurately documented, and compliant with company expectations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working independently while staying closely connected with the internal team through timely communication and system updates. Success in this role requires strong organizational habits, comfort with mobile technology, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues in the field before they impact leasing timelines or resident satisfaction. Responsibilities Deliver and pick up signs, lockboxes, and keys as needed. Perform move-in/move-out inspections and vacant home checks. Ensure compliance with company standards for rent-ready properties. Utilize AppFolio and mobile tools to capture accurate evaluations and send deliverables promptly. Ensure proper documentation in company systems. Prompt communication among internal team members. Strong technical proficiency with mobile devices and applications. Valid Driver's license. Reliable personal vehicle - mileage to be reimbursed. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 25-35 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and navigate interior/exterior property areas. Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and perform visual inspections. Ability to drive regularly for field visits. Ability to use mobile devices and inspection tools. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Preferred Skills Hands-on handyman experience or background in property maintenance. Familiarity with landlord-tenant laws and property management best practices.
