Residential:
At Elev8 Residential, we bring over 17 years of expertise in property management, offering a hands-on approach for properties with 100 units or less. We prioritize personalized service and operational excellence to ensure resident satisfaction and long-term success for property owners. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Community Manager to support the management of one of our residential communities.
Position Overview:
The Assistant Community Manager plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the property, working closely with the Community Manager to ensure smooth and efficient management. This role involves assisting with leasing, handling resident relations, overseeing maintenance coordination, and ensuring compliance with property policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and eager to grow within the property management field.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Operations Support:
Assist in managing daily property operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up with residents to ensure satisfaction. Support the Community Manager in conducting property inspections and identifying areas for improvement.
Leasing and Occupancy:
Assist in leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements. Help maintain high occupancy rates by supporting marketing and outreach efforts. Manage lease renewals and coordinate with residents regarding their housing needs.
Resident Relations:
Act as a secondary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Assist in planning and promoting resident engagement activities to foster a strong community. Mediate conflicts and escalate concerns to the Community Manager as needed.
Financial and Administrative Support:
Assist in rent collection and track outstanding balances, following up with residents as necessary. Help manage financial records, invoices, and budget-related documentation. Prepare reports and assist in submitting them to property owners and upper management.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations. Assist in managing safety protocols and maintaining accurate property documentation. Conduct periodic inspections to ensure compliance with property standards.
Team and Vendor Coordination:
Support communication with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure timely and quality service. Assist in supervising on-site personnel and ensure a collaborative working environment.
Qualifications:
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in property management, leasing, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Basic proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office. Understanding of leasing procedures and resident relations.
Certifications:
CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) or similar certification is a plus but not required. Why Join Elev8 Residential?
