Valley Residential Care $36/Hour Equivalent Salaried Position Full-Time Leadership Role Monday•Friday | 8:00 AM•5:00 PM Leadership Doesn't End at 5:00 PM. Valley Residential Care is seeking an experienced, hands-on House Manager to lead one of our residential behavioral health homes. We provide care for adults with mental health needs and are looking for a proven leader who can build strong teams, maintain high standards of care, and create a safe, stable environment for both residents and employees. This is not a desk job, and it is not an entry-level management position. We're looking for someone who leads by example, isn't afraid to jump in when needed, and understands that exceptional resident care starts with exceptional leadership. Attendance, professionalism, and reliability are essential. This position is ideal for a seasoned healthcare leader looking for a long-term career. It is not suited for candidates seeking a management title without active involvement in resident care and daily operations. Compensation & BenefitsThis is a full-time SALARIED
leadership position. Compensation is equivalent to $36.00 per hour , reflecting the leadership responsibilities and flexibility required to successfully manage a residential care home. We offer:

Monday•Friday 8:00 AM•5:00 PM Leadership Expectations:
As a salaried House Manager, flexibility is an essential part of the role. While the primary schedule is Monday through Friday, House Managers are expected to be available to address urgent operational issues, support staff, respond to emergencies, and assist with occasional shift coverage when necessary to ensure resident safety and continuity of care. Healthcare is a 24-hour operation, and successful leaders understand the importance of being available when their team and residents need them. Minimum Qualifications:

Active Washington State Home Care Aide (HCA) or Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) license. Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience in an Assisted Living Facility. Extensive knowledge of assisted living operations and caregiving practices. Experience working with adults experiencing mental health and behavioral challenges. Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions. Experience with electronic documentation systems. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. What You'll Do As House Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of your assigned home while ensuring residents receive exceptional care in a safe, structured, and compliant environment. Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop caregiving staff. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professionalism. Serve as the primary resource for staff and resident concerns. Respond to after-hours emergencies and operational contingencies. Train and onboard new employees. Resident Care Be an expert in all caregiving duties and provide direct care when necessary. Utilize effective behavioral intervention strategies. Support residents in community activities and appointments. Ensure residents are prepared for appointments and daily schedules. Maintain positive relationships with residents and their families. Compliance & Documentation Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable WAC and RCW regulations. Maintain resident charts and Carelink documentation. Ensure timely and accurate documentation by staff. Promptly report suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, or financial exploitation. Operations Manage all facets of household and kitchen operations. Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and organized. Work closely with the Scheduling Coordinator to resolve staffing needs. Oversee daily household functions and operational efficiency. Maintain accountability for facility keys, communication devices, and equipment. Perform other duties as assigned.
