Job Description

Job Overview We're looking for a high-performing Property Manager who brings strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and professionalism to the role. Real estate experience is helpful but not essential—we believe the right person can learn the industry. What matters most is your ability to manage client relationships, solve problems proactively, and represent our team with confidence and care. You'll oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential property portfolio, serving as a trusted partner to both property owners and tenants. Duties Manage all aspects of property operations including owner relations and tenant relations Build portfolio by creating and nurturing owner relationships Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws related to property management and leasing Perform renewal inspections, prepare lease renewals in accordance with local and state laws, and communicate with property owners on property availability Communicate with the maintenance team and homeowners regarding repairs Maintain accurate records of property activities using property management software, AppFolio Develop and implement policies to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure they meet safety standards and are in good condition Manage budgets for property operations, including tracking expenses and preparing financial reports Foster positive relationships with tenants and owners through effective customer relationship management Skills and Qualifications Strong relationship management and communication skills Ability to manage client accounts with professionalism and care Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities Willingness to learn real estate and property management operations Previous experience in real estate or property management is a plus, but not required Familiarity with property management software such as AppFolio is helpful Understanding of facilities management and government housing programs is a bonus Ability to navigate contract negotiations with vendors and ensure compliance with internal policies
