Tacoma property management company, McCormick International, Inc., is looking for a full-time Leasing Agent/Property Manager to become part of our expanding brand/company in Tacoma. Upward career mobility exists here because we are a young company making big changes now, and expecting sustained growth of 20-25% over the next 20 years. We offer flexible work hours and competitive pay and benefits. The schedule for this positiion is Tuesday-Saturday (usual days off are Sunday and Monday but subject to change to cover for vacations as needed.) Hours of work are 9 AM to 6 PM. We are searching for a professional leasing agent/property manager looking to become part of a growing company, that is willing to gain management experience and look forward to future promotions. We are searching for candidates with a lot of energy, who are conscientious, who work hard, who communicate well, and someone that will excel in this position. Prior property management/leasing experience is a plus. McCormick International is different from other property management companies because we are portfolio-based; all properties are owned by the company. Starting pay dependent upon person, abilities, and results. The Leasing Agent will be working under the supervision of the Senior Property Manager.
Experience desired in following areas:
Leasing apartments Knowing how to use Rent Manager and/or similar software Knowing how to use Outlook for email communication Useable knowledge of Word, Excel and Google Sheets Must be willing to show properties and give tours during all working hours Should be able to do lead tracking and follow up with prospects Website updates and advertising Zillow advertising experience Knowledgeable on strategies for increased ad exposure Move-ins Move-outs Responsible for the physical property operations Responsive to tenant requests Follow directions well with self motivated follow through Must communicate well in writing, email, phones, and with computers Must have own transportation and valid driver license and insurance Being detail oriented and highly organized is a big plus. All properties are within one to two miles of our downtown Tacoma office so minimal time is spent commuting between properties.
