Job Description

As an Assistant Property Manager, you will use your organizational and problem-solving skills to provide exceptional service to our residents and owners alike.
Key Responsibilities Tenant & Lease Management:
Assist with leasing activities including property tours, applicant screening, and lease executions. Perform move-in/out inspections and maintain optimal occupancy through strategic marketing on platforms like Zillow and Facebook.
Investor & Resident Relations:
Act as a primary point of contact for owners and tenants. Resolve inquiries, manage conflict resolution, and ensure timely communication regarding rental schedules, late payments, and lease enforcement.
Maintenance Coordination:
Oversee property upkeep by investigating tenant requests, scheduling repairs with third-party vendors, and conducting regular inspections to ensure facilities are well-maintained.
Financial & Administrative Support:
Support rent collection, payment processing, and data entry. Maintain accurate records of tenant files, contracts, and compliance documentation using property management software.
Operation Duties:
Perform courier tasks including lockbox/sign installations and transport of keys, paperwork and maintenance items up to 20 pounds as needed.
Communication:
Promptly and professionally answer and return all phone calls, voicemails, emails and texts.
Compliance:
Ensure all operations align with Fair Housing regulations and local landlord-tenant laws.
Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:
Background in property management, real estate, or affordable housing initiatives preferred.
Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in Google Suite and property management software (e.g., Appfolio, Yardi, OneSite, or similar) preferred.
Communication:
Exceptional interpersonal skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle difficult conversations with diplomacy.
Organization:
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
Physical/Legal:
High school diploma or equivalent; Valid Washington State Driver's License; ability to lift 20 lbs and stand/walk for 30-minute intervals.
