007761 Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama and two years of professional disability services experience in a higher education setting. Knowledge of the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) is required. Job Description Summary The University of South Alabama's Center for Education Access & Disability Resources is seeking to hire an Assistant Director, CEADR. Interested candidates should apply to be considered. Essential Functions Determines reasonable accommodations. Provides appropriate resources and referrals to academic, developmental, physical and social needs. Ensures efficient and effective management of services. Develops policies, processes and procedures. Assists in developing and implementing plans and goals for Center for Educational Accessibility & Disability Resources (CEADR). Works with the Director to coordinate and supervise daily operations. Ensures compliance with federal regulations and university policies. Establishes program outcome assessments for the office (TracDat). Collects, analyzes, and disseminates student and program evaluation data. Conducts fact-finding and resolution of disability discrimination complaints in collaboration with the Director. Provides consultative assistance, training and/or technical support to students and faculty. Maintains complete case notes/records on all registered students interactions using OMS. Prepares correspondence and other documentation using MS Office. Regular and prompt attendance. Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required. Related duties as required.
