Pay Range:
$71,000 to $85,000 Overview We are seeking an experienced and results oriented Community Manager II to oversee the daily operations of five Manufactured Housing Communities in the Long Beach and Southern California region. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of California housing laws, and the ability to manage both rental operations and home sales. You will lead onsite teams, manage financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and create a positive living environment for residents. Core Responsibilities Leadership and Personnel Management Lead and support all onsite staff across five communities Set weekly, monthly, and annual performance goals and provide coaching to achieve them Ensure compliance with Cal OSHA safety standards Ensure full compliance with California mandated meal and rest break requirements Financial and Operational Oversight Develop annual budgets and conduct ongoing variance analysis Set market rents and maintain accurate rent rolls and delinquency reports Manage vendor contracts and approve large scale projects Monitor contractor performance and ensure quality work Coordinate with government agencies including HCD for permits and inspections Sales, Leasing, and Marketing Oversee the sale of new and used manufactured homes and RVs Drive leasing activity to maintain high occupancy and a strong inventory of market ready homes Partner with the marketing team to execute digital and print marketing strategies Build strong resident relationships and support community appreciation activities Maintenance and Compliance Partner daily with Maintenance Supervisors to monitor work order trends and inventory Conduct physical inspections of all communities to ensure utility safety and Title 25 compliance Process legal notices in accordance with the California Mobilehome Residency Law Ensure all communities meet regulatory and safety standards Qualifications Required Five to seven years of experience in customer service and property management or maintenance Bilingual English and Spanish Proficiency in Google Suite, Adobe, and Entrata or similar cloud based software Ability to obtain a Park Manager Certification of Completion within 90 days Ability to obtain the California SB 869 Park Manager Certification within one year High school diploma Ability to walk and inspect multiple sites totaling more than 400 units Preferred Associate degree or real estate related education Who Thrives in This Role Someone who enjoys leading teams and managing multiple communities Someone who communicates clearly and professionally Someone who is organized, proactive, and detail oriented Someone who understands California housing laws and compliance requirements Someone who thrives in a fast paced, high responsibility environment Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance with dependent coverage options Life insurance and disability insurance 401K with employer matching Paid holidays Rent discounts for eligible employees
