The Public Works Services Department maintains and enhances the city's infrastructure through a broad range of services including streets, sidewalks, trees, water, sewer, storm water, solid waste, and environmental initiatives. The Department is supported by 116 employees and has an operating budget of $131.8 million. Reporting to an Assistant City Manager, the Director of Public Works Services will be a visible, collaborative, and service-oriented leader. Strong utilities operations experience is highly valued, particularly hands-on operational expertise. The ideal candidate will understand the challenges of maintaining critical infrastructure, maximizing asset life, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting long-term system sustainability.
