Job Description:
Position Summary:
Our client is expanding into the Santa Cruz Regional Center catchment area and we're looking for the right person to lead that launch. This isn't a position for someone who wants to manage an established program. It's a position for someone who wants to build one. The Regional Services Director in Santa Cruz will be the first presence in the region, will launch the Independent Living Services (ILS) program, establish relationships with the Santa Cruz Regional Center, hire and develop a team that shares our commitment to person-centered, community-based support for adults with I/DD. Over time, will expand into SLS, CFS, and In-Home Respite as the office grows.
Duties And Responsibilities:
Launch and grow the programs in the Santa Cruz Regional Center catchment area, starting with ILS and scaling from there
Build relationships with Regional Center service coordinators, intake staff, and community partners from day one
Hire, supervise, and develop Program Managers as each service line comes online
Ensure full compliance with DDS regulations, Title 17, vendor requirements, and Regional Center standards
Manage regional billing, staffing, and service authorization to meet program performance targets
Report monthly to the COO on enrollment, operations, compliance, and growth milestones
Serve as the face of the company Support Services in
Santa Cruz County Qualifications:
3-5+ years of leadership experience in I/DD, social services, or communitybased care
Knowledge and experience in California Regional Center system and can navigate it confidently
Proven track record building, launching programs or teams
Driven by mission and hold to a high standard without being told
Exceptional professional communication skills both verbal and written
Close commute to or willing to relocate to
Santa Cruz County Benefits and Compensation:
Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually depending on experience

Other Requirements:
Valid California driver's license
Current vehicle registration and use of a vehicle in good running condition during work hours.
Valid automobile insurance for that vehicle and all passengers that meets the minimum coverage requirements of the company's agency ($100K/$300K bodily injury liability)
