This position performs administrative, operational and analytical duties to ensure all functions associated with supporting the Judges Compensation and Retirement Division are completed accurately, correctly, and in a timely fashion. The duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: o Answering office phones and coordinating with the Judges Retirement and Advisory Services and the Judge's Personnel and Payroll Advisory Services Teams to refer callers to appropriate staff. o Prepares office correspondence as directed. Correspondence includes letters prepared for the AO Director to new judges, senior judges, and survivors upon a judges' death. o Assists with outreach program preparation. Coordinating program materials, handouts and shipping them to program locations. o Prepares travel authorizations and vouchers for staff travel. o Assists with personnel mailings including pay statements to retired judges and judicial survivor annuitants. o Assists with ID card program for judges, clerks of court, and court officials. Preparing letters, laminating, and shipping ID cards to chambers. o Performs administrative special projects related to e-official personnel folders (e-opf), office research, and automated process organization. o Assists with responding to Oath of Office requests. Researching oath dates and preparing correspondence to requester and judges.
Required:
High School diploma or GED is required. Experience working with office automation applications (Word, Excel, Access). Must demonstrate attention to detail and demonstrate good organizational skills. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with officials at all levels.
