Videos Duties Help The Associe Director for Visitor Experience provides executive leadership, stregic direction, and policy oversight for Service-wide or experience programs th define how the public engages with, understands, and values the Nional Park System.
Responsibilities include:
Serves as the focal point within NPS for providing advice and guidance in reaching decisions on a range of management and policy issues reling to the programmic areas, which include the following activities: engagement programs designed to foster meaningful connections between people and nional parks; or experience operions th directly support public use, learning, and enjoyment of nional parks; nional interpretive and educional media development ensuring the design, production, and delivery of high-quality, accessible, and innovive interpretive media th support ors' understanding and learning outcomes. Evalues program performance against organizional objectives, endorsing key plans and changes in directives, and analyzing structural and resource needs to enhance operional effectiveness. Serves as a member of the NPS leadership team. Collabores with the Director and other leaders to set overall policy, establish priorities, define the stregic direction of the Service, and determine legislive goals and stregies a nional level.
