Job Description
This vacancy is for a GS-0301-13, Strategic Planning Specialist located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, COMMANDANTS
ADVISORY GROUP
inWASHINGTON.
Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS- 13 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Assist in the planning and development of short - and long-term strategic plans to meet deliverables to include but not limited to briefing, public appearance, meetings, speeches; Perform administrative and liaison activities requiring diplomacy and prudence in execution for example resolving calendar conflicts, managing ethics determinations, coordinating Protective Service Details, etc.; Coordinate unique administrative assignments between diverse internal and external groups (i.e., industry representative, special interest groups, non-profits organizations, state and local, government officials, congressional staff and senior federal officials); and Prepare briefs, memos and/or other summaries analyzing complex issues to support the strategic agenda.NOTE:
