Recycling Plant Operations Manager - Middletown Materials

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Recycling Plant Operations Manager to lead and optimize the operations of our Middletown Materials facility. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of quarry production, plant management, and supply chain processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Primary work is performed at an active recycling plant and material processing facility, with regular exposure to Heavy equipment, moving machinery, dust, noise, and varying weather conditions The role regularly supports heavy civil construction operations and may require visits to active job sites Work is performed in a high-production, physically demanding environment, requiring standing, walking, climbing and navigating uneven terrain. Must be able to safely work in and around operating equipment and occasionally lift/move up to 75lbs Travel between the plant, production yards, and project sites may be required. Qualifications Proven leadership experience in a field or industrial environment 5+ years experience in recycling plant operations, material processing, heavy civil construction or related field Strong understanding of equipment operations, production flow, and site logistics OSHA 30 (required or able to obtain within 6 months) Skills and Compentencies Hands on leadership with strong decision-making ability Operational planning, scheduling, and problem solving Ability to manage crews, equipment, and priorities in a fast-paced environment Effective communication across field teams and management Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction/project management software Working Conditions Proven leadership experience in a field or industrial environment 5+ years experience in recycling plant operations, material processing, heavy civil construction or related field Strong understanding of equipment operations, production flow, and site logistics OSHA 30 (required or able to obtain within 6 months)

Pay:

$73,184.73 - $88,136.44 per year
