Full-time Summary:
The Assistant Director of Budgeting will direct the activities of appropriate staff to produce operational budgets accurately. They will coordinate, organize, and actively oversee the budget process.
Responsibilities:
Strong Excel skills are preferred and INFOR dEPM and/or query experience is a plus. Ability to train appropriate Finance and hotel operational staff in the use of dEPM. Demonstrated competence with extracting and compiling large amounts of data. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are necessary. Ability to meet simultaneous deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Create, and maintain general ledger account set-up and financial report set-up. Verbal and written communication skills are necessary to prepare clear and concise correspondence and reports at a level appropriate for the intended audience. Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of related finance experience and/or training required. Minimum 6 months of related management experience required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail skills. Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. infrequently. Must be able to legally work in the USA. Education and Certification(s)/License(s): Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
