Savannah, GA Job Details Full-time $75,000 - $90,000 a year 15 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Executive leadership Director experience Social service program staff supervision C-Suite experience Social service program planning Full Job Description LIFE (Living Independence For Everyone), a peer-run disability resource center serving twenty Southeast Georgia counties, seeks a talented and dynamic Executive Director. The Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of LIFE's Savannah, Georgia headquarters as well as a satellite office in Jesup, Georgia. A highly qualified candidate will possess: Significant prior experience in nonprofit management, human services or a closely related field, especially pertaining to disability rights and advocacy. A deep commitment to and knowledge of the Independent Living philosophy including peer support and advocacy for people with disabilities. Proven ability to successfully manage large-scale grant funding to achieve organizational priorities. Experience building relationships with organizations similar to LIFE, Inc. and governmental partners. Prior experience managing several staff members. Experience with the development and implementation of organizational strategic plans and day-to-day operational work plans to achieve desired organizational objectives. Experience in change management and able to manage multiple, on-going programs and services. Compensation range for the position will be between $75,000 and $90,000, commensurate with the candidate's skills and experience. . Health insurance and life insurance will be provided at no cost to the employee and dental and vision are available through LIFE's plan for purchase pre-tax. LIFE offers all employees a
