POSITION CONCEPT
Facilitate and lead daily operations of JA BizTown simulations and volunteer training associated with JA BizTown. Act as a primary resource to students, volunteers, and educators.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate with educators to ensure they understand expectations for simulation day and complete the required curriculum and simulation verification forms prior to their scheduled visit Organize and coordinate curriculum material pick-up for participating schools with the Director of Experiential Learning Centers Manage simulation day efficiently and effectively when volunteers and students are present by leading the simulation process on the microphone Manage JA BizTown simulations by following morning set-up guidelines before volunteers arrive and afternoon cleaning and re-set procedures once students leave Maintain overall instructional excellence of the program for all stakeholders (educators, students and volunteers) Coordinate, lead, and facilitate morning volunteer training and check-in Monitor inventory of simulation materials/forms Store and charge all iPads after each simulation Supervise and mentor the JA BizTown Simulation Specialist team, including managing daily communication and addressing operational issues as they arise Manage and maintain the scheduling of the Simulation Staff while coordinating with the ELC Manager- JA Finance Park to ensure adequate coverage of all ELC's, including approving time off requests and arranging coverage for call-ins Communicate key operational information clearly and promptly to ensure team alignment and readiness Stay current with JA USA program updates by regularly attending required webinars or reviewing recorded sessions to ensure the most up-to-date knowledge in JA BizTown Provide hands-on training and guidance to new Simulation Specialists once onboarding is complete to ensure readiness and consistency Ensure facility safety protocols are maintained Understand how to troubleshoot computer issues and/or reach out to IT for assistance Lead JA BizTown Summer Camp sessions Anticipate and communicate potential problems, questions/concerns, etc. Assist with
JA Special Events:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong interpersonal and oral presentation skills Detail-oriented, proactive, organized and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot technology issues
