Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic, innovative professional skilled in leadership, team building, and youth programming. The Program Director will play a key role in ensuring safe, engaging, and impactful youth programs at the YMCA at Norton Commons and within our elementary school partnership. The person in this role will work alongside our Sr Family Program Director to create, organize, market, deliver, and manage all aspects of Kids Club offerings. The individual in this role will actively participate as a member of the branch leadership team, risk management, and annual giving, and serve as Manager on Duty.
Qualifications:
Understand, articulate, demonstrate and promote the mission of the YMCA at all times Demonstrated skill in communication, decision making, multi-tasking, and leadership Excellent customer service, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills Excellent communication skills Innovative program development skills with a focus on meeting community needs and demands Previous program work experience preferred Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
