This position supports the design and delivery of policy and procedure training for both internal staff and external partners, ensuring consistency and accuracy across a wide range of eligibility programs. Working closely with leadership and training partners, you will help equip teams with the knowledge needed to serve communities effectively. Minimum Qualifications Six years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR A bachelor's degree plus three years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus two years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:
Analyzes post-eligibility reports to identify issues, trends, and training gaps, and develops data-driven solutions to improve program performance Designs and delivers targeted training, including remediation and refresher sessions, to address identified gaps across regional offices and external partners Assists in documenting and recommending procedural changes to Medicaid eligibility processes, ensuring alignment with policy and escalating updates for review and approval Serves as a subject matter expert in system development and operations, including participation in LaMEDS initiatives and vetting system issues prior to escalation Monitors and evaluates staff and system performance through case reviews, audits, and quality assurance processes, and reports findings with recommendations for improvement Develops, updates, and manages training materials and reference resources, ensuring accuracy and accessibility across agency repositories Collaborates with regional leadership to identify training needs, communicates policy and procedural updates, and participates in unit, regional, and statewide training initiatives
