Director of Redevelopment Revere, MA Apply Revere Housing Authority-Director of Redevelopment Summary Revere Housing Authority (?RHA?) seeks a Redevelopment Project Manager to work in partnership with the Redevelopment team, other RHA departments, and community and project partners to advance the RHA?s affordable housing agenda through all stages of development. The incumbent helps develop and maintain project budgets, assemble financing, competitively procure and supervise consultants, and communicates with residents, the City of Revere and funders. All activities must support the Revere Housing Authority?s mission, strategic goals, and objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The position duties and responsibilities listed below describe the general nature and scope of work. Other responsibilities, duties, and skills may be required and assigned as needed. Manage monthly requisitions for ongoing redevelopment projects; including updates to development budgets, tracking sources and uses for LIHTC maximization, and delivering monthly reports to lenders. Attend weekly construction meetings as necessary and coordinate with RHA?s Owners Project Manager (OPM) to track change orders, obtaining consent from Board and funders as necessary. Conduct resident process to ensure residents are informed of redevelopment plans and have the opportunity for input. Assemble financing and prepare applications for grants, equity, and loan programs. Coordinate with property management, resident services, maintenance, finance and leased housing departments to obtain input and move projects forward during predevelopment, construction and lease up. Represent RHA with residents, public officials, funders and other stakeholders. Assist Executive Director with permitting, planning and community process. Support Executive Director with initial closings and permanent loan conversions. Prepare RFPs consistent with MGL 30B to solicit third-party consultant services, construction and permanent financing, and equity resources from private and government lenders and investors. Lead project teams to keep projects on schedule. Make recommendations and reports to Board of Commissioners. Attend and/ present at evening committee meetings or community gatherings as necessary. Lead the exploration and implementation of innovative housing development, preservation, and affordability strategies aligned with RHA priorities. Assist in identifying and evaluating strategic real estate, financing, and policy opportunities that support long-term redevelopment goals. Support the creation and coordination of affiliated partnerships, entities, or implementation structures necessary to advance redevelopment and housing preservation goals. Support all other efforts relating to the RHA?s Preservation Initiative and Redevelopment Program. Provide additional support, as may be needed from time to time, to assist coworkers and help with special projects. Other duties as assigned.
