Job Description

As an Assistant Program Director, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing multiple child care sites, ensuring high-quality programming, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. By , managing staff, and collaborating on program performance, you'll help create safe, nurturing environments where children, families, and educators can thrive. What We Offer A mission-driven organization committed to supporting children, families, and communities A leadership role with the opportunity to shape high-quality early childhood programs A collaborative, team-oriented environment with strong supervisory and peer support Ongoing professional development and opportunities to maintain EEC certifications The ability to make a meaningful impact across multiple child care sites What You'll Do Oversee operations and programming across three child care sites Ensure all programs meet Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) regulations and BHN policies Maintain licensing compliance and uphold high-quality standards across all sites Lead hiring, onboarding, and training of staff Collaborate with the Senior Program Manager to monitor budgets, revenue, and enrollment Ensure optimal enrollment and program sustainability across all sites Provide ongoing administrative and programmatic support to leadership staff Identify challenges, problem-solve effectively, and communicate key updates to leadership Who You Are An experienced leader in early childhood education with strong operational and supervisory skills Skilled at managing multiple sites, priorities, and teams in a fast-paced environment A collaborative professional who communicates effectively with staff, families, and leadership Organized, proactive, and able to respond to challenges and urgent needs Committed to providing inclusive, culturally responsive care to diverse populations Comfortable using technology and supporting others in administrative systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 5 years of experience managing child care programs preferred Must meet EEC qualifications for Center Director Director Certification (Required) Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Safety certifications Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining EEC requirements Ability to work across multiple sites and with diverse groups of children, families, and staff SALARY- $58K-$76K We Hire for Purpose!
