International Internal Affairs Mentor
Mentor for
The mentor responsibilities include coaching, advising and mentoring the Internal Affairs Officer in his or her job duties and responsibilities.
The Internal Affairs Officer responsibilities include: Development and implementation of internal affairs policies and procedures for the Ministry Of Interior; training and monitoring personnel assigned to IA in the performance of their duties, assigning cases to be investigated by IA personnel, monitor on-going cases to see that proper procedures are followed, review completed cases for accuracy and proper conclusion/recommendations by the assigned investigator, assure that all investigations are done in a fair, impartial manner, act as a liaison between the office of Internal Affairs and all other offices within the MOI, make recommendations to the minister for change when deficiencies are uncovered in the current system, serve as an information resource to all MI departments in areas involving misconduct or criminal activity within the ranks of the ANP, develop a tracking system for IA cases, maintain an ongoing training program so that IA investigators remain competent in their duties.
Senior Police Manager with extensive training & knowledge in the area of Internal Investigations, Program Development & Implementation are required.

The Internal Affairs office is associated with the Ministry of Interior, Kabul, Afghanistan. The MoI is a highly visible and important governmental institution. Its responsibilities are nation-wide.The mentor responsibilities include coaching, advising and mentoring the Internal Affairs Officer in his or her job duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university, or 120 units of college credits. Completion of a senior level law enforcement training program such as the FBI National Academy, Southern Police Institute, or California Command College preferred. The mentor shall have a minimum of ten years of combined domestic or international law enforcement experience with a minimum of four years in a law enforcement management position; with four years experience supervising, or managing an Internal Affairs unit.Senior Police Manager with extensive training & knowledge in the area of Internal Investigations, Program Development & Implementation are required.

Salary:
