The Pharmacy Manager must work collaboratively with the Center Medical Director, Nurse Manager, and Office Manager to provide safe, high-quality, effective, and efficient medical/pharmaceutical care. The Pharmacy Manager acts as a pharmaceutical resource to all clinical staff. They will promote safety and oversee the role of staff pharmacists responsible for drug control, labeling, and providing quality information on prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications, as well as maintaining 340B Compliance. The Pharmacy Manager receives general supervision from the Director of Pharmacy.
Education:
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy is required. Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) is preferred
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
Maryland Board of Pharmacy licensure required License must be in good standing
Preferred Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification. Certified Immunizer certification.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacy management is required. MTM certification Certified Immunizer Certification Baltimore Medical System (BMS) is a community-based, nonprofit organization that provides quality primary/outpatient care services to the underserved communities in the Greater Baltimore area. BMS is the largest FQHC in Maryland, and we offer a variety of comprehensive primary and behavioral health services through five (5) community health centers and eight (8) school-based health centers.
