Court Fiscal Manager Salary:
$68,000 - $81,000 (Offer will be commensurate with experience)
Work Schedule:
Typical working hours for this position occur during the Court's regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST.

Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the court administrator and deputy court administrator, coordinates and manages all fiscal functions for the 15th District Court including preparing and/or auditing bank deposits, performing bank reconciliations, paying bills, transmitting funds to/from the local funding unit and the state and prepares the monthly transmittals for those funds, prepares and monitors the court budget.
Requirements:
Have no felony offense convictions; Pass a criminal background check and drug test; Pass testing requirements to be a certified LEIN (Law Enforcement Information Network) operator within six (6) months of employment and recertify as applicable; Possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; or, experience in court administration, and financial management equivalent to a bachelor's degree. Have a minimum of two (2) years progressive experience in accounting/financial/budget in court operations or similar. Have knowledge of accounting and financial principles, practices and procedures; Have knowledge of audit practices and procedures and fiscal management; Be able to analyze complex accounting issues and develop alternative solutions; Be able to critically analyze operations, collaboratively design and institute improvements without disruption of existing operations and services; Be able to set appropriate priorities while coordinating multiple projects and meeting critical deadlines; Be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions; Be able to work independently and to set priorities to meet deadlines; Be able to work well in a team environment; Possess attention to detail and accuracy in work performance; Possess good organizational, filing, verbal and writing skills; Have advanced knowledge of personal computer and office software applications (e.g. Microsoft PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Word, Outlook); Possess the ability to problem solve and use sound judgment; Be capable of performing the work related in this posting.
