This role is central to advancing MOKA's mission and Board-approved strategic plan while ensuring excellence in service delivery, compliance, and outcomes for the people we support. The Director of Programs works closely with the Executive Director and Executive Leadership Team to strengthen existing services, develop innovative program models, and build strong partnerships that support sustainability and growth. What You'll Do Lead, mentor, and develop a team of program leaders, supporting performance management, professional growth, and succession planning Advocate for the people served by MOKA, ensuring programs consistently deliver high-quality, person-centered services Ensure program compliance with accreditation standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory expectations Monitor trends and community needs to identify opportunities for new programs and partnerships aligned with MOKA's mission Collaborate with executive leadership to design and launch new service delivery models Cultivate relationships with existing and potential funders to support program development and sustainability Promote a transparent, inclusive workplace culture rooted in MOKA's values Provide oversight of agency core committees and programmatic work groups, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities Partner with other agency leaders to develop budgets, negotiate service rates, and monitor financial performance Lead program evaluation and continuous improvement efforts to maximize positive outcomes for people served Collaborate with executive leadership on risk management, compliance, health and safety, and performance improvement initiatives What We're Looking For Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, psychology, social work, or a related field Master's degree in a related field preferred At least five years of experience in a key management or leadership role Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered Skills & Qualities Passion for MOKA's mission and a commitment to person-centered services Proven leadership and team development experience Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills Strategic thinking with the ability to navigate complexity and change Financial acumen, including budgeting and program sustainability Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and database/reporting software Additional Requirements Ability to travel locally between MOKA and community locations Why MOKA At MOKA, you'll join a dedicated team that values integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
