We are currently seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Finance Director. As our Assistant Finance Director, you will perform a variety of financial, supervisory, project management, and LIHTC program implementation and compliance duties. The ideal candidate is highly organized with an eye for detail, possesses excellent communication skills, possesses proficient Excel skills, and has the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Position Responsibilities The Assistant Finance Director oversees compliance, maintenance, and financial reporting functions for buildings, equipment, and affordable housing entities. Responsibilities include coordinating bids and contracts, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, improving administrative efficiency through technology and process enhancements, implementing software solutions, leading projects, and maintaining high-quality organizational practices. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, sound professional judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage complex financial and operational responsibilities effectively. This position requires a working knowledge of each department of the Agency as well as applicable Department of Mental Health, City and County and Affordable Housing accounting requirements as well as a working knowledge of Missouri Housing Development Commission Low Income Housing Tax Credit program. This position also requires a working knowledge of Medicaid and Social Security Administration to assist in the other operations of the Agency. Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting, from an accredited four-year college or university Have experience in accounting, finance and budgeting At least two years' supervisory experience Have access to an insured and properly maintained vehicle for work-related transportation.
