Columbia, MO Pay:
$70,000•85,000 annually (Determined by education + experience) Job Summary This position will oversee two Foster Care Case Management Supervisors and one Home Visiting Supervisor. Candidates must have prior foster care case management experience, along with 3-5 years of supervisory experience. The CBS Director is responsible for the development, execution, and oversight of all community based clinical programs. The position provides guidance and monitoring to ensure achievement of targeted goals and outcomes; compliance with the Joint Commission, program contracts and KVC procedures, standards and policies. This position supervises the foster care case management supervisors. The CBS Director serves as a liaison with appropriate referral agencies and serves on the Leadership Team.
Major Duties:
Provides leadership direction to all the programs in Community Based Services Department Ensures compliance with Joint Commission regulations, program contracts, grants, state regulations, licensing requirements and other accrediting entities Ensures policies, procedures, protocols; treatment planning and implementation, paperwork, and electronic health record documentation are timely and accurate Monitors program outcomes, quality assurance, and improvement strategies Hires, trains, evaluates and provides supervision of CBS supervisory staff Provides clinical consultation, review of case documentation and feedback on program outcomes Submits timely reports to Finance, funding agencies, and contracted providers Develops and monitors budgets of community-based programs Accountable for managing and maintaining program census/enrollment at budgeted capacities Chairs department meetings to ensure information is communicated from executive and regional leadership in a timely manner Serves as liaison to Missouri Alliance, state and local agencies, family courts and other social service providers, visits agencies regularly to report on program outcomes Presents information regarding KVC programs to community organizations, families and referral sources Serves on the Leadership Team Assists with new program development and strategic planning Assists with grant funding requests
Education:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or human services related field
Qualifications:
Strong customer service focus and excellent interpersonal skills Proven multi-project prioritization abilities Excellent reading, oral and written communication skills to prepare reports, presentations, proposals, grants, programs and summaries Proficient in Word, Excel and email applications Willingness to travel Current, valid driver's license and meet KVC's requirement for driver's insurance
Experience:
Three (3) to five (5) years' supervisor experience Five (5) years of work experience in community-based services in child welfare, foster care case management, mental health or other youth services Experience in program development and monitoring program outcomes Strong public speaking skills
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to crises with an appropriate level of urgency and decisiveness Experience working with children and families in a trauma informed environment Why KVC?
