- Ensure all communication is aligned with strategic plan
- Draft and edit press releases, newsletters, speeches, talking points and website content
- Ensure all agency communications, publications, forms, letters are properly branded
- Take and edit quality photographs and videos Media and Public Relations
- Monitor media coverage, maintain contact lists, and website content
- Distribute press releases and follow up with journalists Digital and Social Media
- In coordination with the communication director, develop and implement comprehensive communication and digital marketing strategy. Ensure systematic publication of high quality and high impact content, with measured results and reports
- Post and schedule content on platforms Event Support
- Support the planning, execution and promotion of events and meetings
- Prepare event materials and information about the audience and other speakers Administrative support
- Respond to customers email and inquires
- Create and update correspondence system including an annual calendar
- Organize files, photos and branding Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in communications, public relations, or a related area. Preferred experience working in government communications or within a public sector organization.
