This position assists with financial office operations, maintains confidential records, supports payroll and benefits functions, and serves as a liaison between employees, insurance providers, and third-party administrators. Duties and Responsibilities Administrative Support to CFO ? Provide direct administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer and finance department ? Prepare correspondence, reports, presentation, spreadsheets, and other financial or administrative documents ? Maintain calendars, schedule meetings and coordinate department activities ? Assist with budget preparation, financial reporting, audits, and data collection ? Maintain and organize confidential financial and personnel records in accordance with district policies and state regulations ? Prepare materials for Board of Education meetings, finance department meetings, and administrative presentations as assigned ? Respond to inquiries from staff, vendors, and the public regarding finance and business office operations ? Assist with purchasing, accounts payable, payroll support, and other business office functions as assigned ? Support special projects and audits as needed Employee Benefits Administration ? Maintain current knowledge of employee insurance plans, coverage options, and administrative procedures ? Process payroll benefit deductions, enrollment change, and discrepancy corrections accurately and timely ? Coordinate and maintain Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance reporting requirements ? Administer employee benefits programs for NERSBA, including enrollment and eligibility management ? Collaborate with district departments regarding employee benefits ? Process monthly insurance payroll uploads and reconcile benefit payment records ? Coordinate COBRA eligibility, required documentation, notifications, and payment tracking ? Prepare and distribute employee exit benefits documentation for departing PCS employees Administrative Assistant Functions-General Duties ? Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with all departments ? Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ? Knowledge of general office management and administrative procedures ? Knowledge of employee benefits administration and payroll processes ? Knowledge of school district finance operations preferred ? Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and personnel information ? Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and benefit guidelines ? Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills ? Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word ? Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with district staff, vendors, and the public Minimum Training and Experience ? Associate degree in business administration, accounting, finance, human resources, or related field preferred ? Minimum of three years of experience in administrative support, finance, payroll, human resources, or employee benefits administration preferred ? Equivalent combination of education and experience considered Reports to:

Requires interaction with individuals beyond basic instruction exchange ? Must be adaptable to varying levels of work-related stress
