  • Veterans Transitional Housing to guide our dedicated team and support Veterans on their path to stability, recover, and independence. This is a fully onsite role in New Hampshire. In this leadership role, you will:
  • Oversee operations across three transitional housing sites, ensuring high-quality Veteran-centered care assisting Veterans transitioning from homelessness to stability in Nashua and Manchester, New Hampshire.
  • Work with other Harbor Care programs to support the needs of Veterans.
  • Lead and mentor case managers and residential staff in a supportive environment.
  • Partner closely with the VA, HUD, Housing Authorities, and community agencies.
  • Support Veterans directly in moments that matter most such as crisis stabilization, goal planning, and connection to essential services.

As Program Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, steward federal grant-funded programming, and partner closely with the Manchester VA and community stakeholders to advance Harbor Care's commitment to ending Veteran homelessness in New Hampshire. Reporting to the Director of Veterans Services, you will serve as a key member of the leadership team, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on support in a dynamic residential environment. What You'll Lead Full operational oversight of three transitional housing facilities: Dalianis House (Nashua) Buckingham Place (Nashua) BAE Independence Hall (Manchester) Supervision, mentorship, and development of case managers and residential staff Program admissions, discharges, and service plan implementation A safe, structured, and trauma-informed residential environment What You'll Influence Housing stability outcomes and Veteran success metrics Program quality, compliance, and readiness for VA and HUD monitoring A culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Community partnerships with the Manchester VA, housing authorities, and local Continuums of Care Budget input and responsible fiscal management of grant-funded programs You will also provide consultation on complex cases, support crisis response when needed, and represent Harbor Care professionally in community meetings and public forums.
Schedule:
Full-time, onsite Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM, with flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
Travel:
Occasional travel between Harbor Care facilities within New Hampshire.
