- Veterans Transitional Housing to guide our dedicated team and support Veterans on their path to stability, recover, and independence. This is a fully onsite role in New Hampshire. In this leadership role, you will:
- Oversee operations across three transitional housing sites, ensuring high-quality Veteran-centered care assisting Veterans transitioning from homelessness to stability in Nashua and Manchester, New Hampshire.
- Work with other Harbor Care programs to support the needs of Veterans.
- Lead and mentor case managers and residential staff in a supportive environment.
- Partner closely with the VA, HUD, Housing Authorities, and community agencies.
- Support Veterans directly in moments that matter most such as crisis stabilization, goal planning, and connection to essential services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and funder standards, and internal quality benchmarks This is more than an operations role โ it is an opportunity to shape outcomes for Veterans rebuilding their lives.
Schedule:
Full-time, onsite Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM, with flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends as needed.Travel:

Medical and Dental insurance with generous employer contribution 401(k) with competitive employer match Vision and Life Insurance options Generous paid time off and holiday schedule Employee Assistance Program for personal and family support Requirements What we're looking for: Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Behavioral Science, Social Work, Psychology, or related field Minimum three (3) years of experience in behavioral health, mental health, or related human services Demonstrated supervisory or program leadership experience in a social services, clinical, or residential setting A passion for Veteran-centered care Preferred Qualifications Experience managing transitional housing or residential programs Direct experience working with Veterans and knowledge of military culture Familiarity with HUD, Section 8, and housing benefit systems Experience with HMIS or similar data reporting systems Strong crisis management, organizational, and communication skills Experience presenting to community groups or professional audiences Veteran status preferred Additional Requirements Ability to travel between Harbor Care facilities within New Hampshire Ability to respond effectively to on-site crises in a residential setting Employment contingent upon successful completion of background screening consistent with applicable law Harbor Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
