Program Manager needed for re-entry program (men and women)
OVERVIEW
Under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Director, directly supervise department staff, manage all department functions and provide appropriate services for individuals in need of services. This position will oversee Dismas House (Men).REPORTS TO
Behavioral Health DirectorESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Review with the Intake/CSW all applications and interviews to determine eligibility and best fit of potential residents. Communicate with all corrections officials (prison/jail case managers, parole/probation officers) on resident be availability and program procedures as applicable. Work with Case management interns to ensure submission of weekly resident progress reports to State Probation/Parole officers. Ensure that resident statistical data is collected regularly and maintained according to requirements of grant funding sources and state contracts. Submit weekly/quarterly census reports to the Clinical Director and Executive Director for analysis and dissemination. Make recommendation to the Clinical Director regarding resident disciplinary actions as needed and implement behavior contracts or other disciplinary measures as needed. Review resident files on a weekly basis to ensure that individual program needs are met Review COMPAS assessments and determine resident needs on a case by case basis. Oversee resident billing process (program fees and other resident related fees). counsel residents with personal concerns, providing positive support and reinforcement. Conduct weekly therapeutic group sessions Schedule and supervise other evening program elements (AA meetings, life-skills sessions, relapse prevention focus groups and other volunteers/program implemented activities) Management of staff: Assists Clinical director with the supervision of Dismas House program staff and interns. Ensure that Dismas House policies and procedures are implemented and that adequate training and enrichment are provided to staff, interns and volunteers. Meet weekly with Clinical Director and Executive Director regarding program and resident issues. Conduct weekly meetings with program staff to review resident progress and needs. Daily scheduling and supervision Conduct or coordinate relevant training Perform annual performance evaluations Interview and select candidates for open positions Coaching or disciplinary actions as appropriate Ensure compliance with paperwork requirements Audit of chartsOTHER REQUIREMENTS
Carry a personal cell phone and maintain excellent contact with other team members, especially in crisis situations and if coordinating client issues when away from Dismas. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with a wide variety of people, including clients, staff, colleagues, vendors and individuals throughout the community. Willingness and demonstrated ability to adhere to St. Martin's mission, visions, and values in carrying out all facets of the job responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to direct, lead and train others. Strong organizational, team building and supervisory/management skills Effective time management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently displaying good judgment and problem-solving skills. Good computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and database. Must have a valid New Mexico driver's license, reliable transportation, a good driving record and be insurable by the agency's insurance carrier. Act as a resource person for programs in specialty areas and by networking with appropriate agencies, shelters, meal sites, etc, as needed. Duties may be changed based on agency needs. Bilingual is a plus.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Master's in Psychology, Social Work or related field preferred. LPCC or LCSW preferred (LMSW or LMHC may be considered) At least 3 years of Management/Supervisory Experience. Pay is negotiable for right fit. Must pass drug screen and criminal background investigation.Job Type:
