Estimated Appointment End Date (Continuous if Blank) Full/Part-Time Full time Job Type Regular Compensation $70,000-$80,000 Job Description The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission serves as the sole government entity responsible for regulating and issuing real estate licenses in the State of Oklahoma. In addition to licensing real estate professionals, the Commission investigates and prosecutes consumer and licensee complaints related to licensed and unlicensed real estate activity in Oklahoma. The Commission is seeking a full-time Educator and Broker Relations Manager to serve as a liaison between the Commission, Oklahoma real estate brokers, education providers, and instructors. This position is responsible for administering education-related programs, supporting educational compliance, fostering industry engagement, and promoting high-quality real estate education throughout Oklahoma. The Educator and Broker Relations Manager will work closely with brokers, educators, and industry stakeholders to provide guidance on education requirements, evaluate educational programs, develop Commission resources, and support initiatives that enhance professional competency and consumer protection. Primary duties will include:
Review, process, and make recommendations regarding applications and renewals for education providers, instructors, and education courses. Serve as the primary point of contact for education providers, instructors, regarding education requirements, renewals, compliance matters, and Commission processes. Conduct education provider, instructor, and course evaluations and audits, including online and in-person classroom visits, and provide performance improvement recommendations as necessary Create, review, or update a minimum of four Commission-developed continuing education courses annually. Assist with the development of educational resources and guidance materials for brokers, instructors, and education providers. Assist with the development and presentation of educational webinars, workshops, or informational sessions for brokers and educators. Conduct outreach to brokers and brokerages to promote Commission resources, gather industry feedback, monitor educational and industry trends, and recommend improvements to educational programs and processes. Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, brokerages, instructors, and education providers to support educational compliance and industry engagement. Develop and maintain relationships with vocational schools, career technology centers, colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to promote real estate career pathways and expand access to Commission-approved pre-license education programs. Prepare reports, correspondence, and educational records as required. Process various education-related projects and assignments as directed by the Executive Director. What Success Looks Like in This Role Become the "go-to" resource for Oklahoma brokers, educators, and education providers by providing accurate, timely, and solution-oriented guidance. Conduct classroom and provider evaluations across the state and provide constructive recommendations that improve the quality of real estate education. Develop or substantially update at least four Commission continuing education courses annually that are engaging and relevant Build relationships with brokerages throughout Oklahoma by regularly meeting with brokers, attending industry events, and gathering feedback that informs Commission initiatives. Establish partnerships with career technology centers, colleges, and universities to increase awareness of real estate career opportunities and Commission-approved education programs. Identify trends and recurring issues among brokers and educators and proactively recommend solutions, educational resources, or process improvements before problems escalate. Lead educational webinars, presentations, or workshops that increase industry understanding of Commission laws, rules, and best practices. Maintain a reputation for responsiveness and professionalism, consistently following through on commitments and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Successfully manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision and maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Competencies and Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications: Must hold an Oklahoma real estate license in good standing. Five years of experience in real estate brokerage, real estate education, regulatory compliance, adult learning, or a related field. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with licensees, educators, brokers, and industry stakeholders. Preference may be given to applicants who: Hold an Oklahoma broker license Possess a bachelor's degree in education, communications, business administration, real estate, or a related field Have experience as a real estate instructor, education provider administrator, managing broker, or broker associate Applicants must have: Knowledge of current principles, trends, developments, and instructional methods and practices related to adult education. Knowledge of real estate brokerage principles and practices and a thorough knowledge of the Oklahoma Real Estate License Code and Rules Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software applications. The ability to communicate professionally with licensees, educators, brokers, consumers, and industry stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities. The ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. A willingness to travel throughout Oklahoma to conduct classroom visits and provider audits An ability to respond to changing priorities, meet deadlines, work collaboratively, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
