Job Description
At the City of Tigard, our talented, industrious, and innovative municipal government professionals have been providing essential services and recreational spaces to Tigard's growing community for over 60 years. This position assists in working with the public and processing the permit application for special events that include fun runs, community picnics, the Farmers' Market and Balloon Festival. This position provides high level of administrative support to our Public Works Divisions that include water, sanitary, stormwater, parks and streets. This position will help with the "intake" of the Tigard Service Requests and ensure they are routed to the correct division/utility. This position typically helps staff events like the PD/PW Open House, Public Works Day, Emergency Preparedness Fair, Leaf Drop and more. Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade AND Three (3) years of varied administrative support experience preferably involving some public contact or two (2) years of experience equivalent to Administrative Specialist I at the City of Tigard.Union Representation:

Monday-Thursday 10 hours per day, General working hours at 6:30 a.m. -5:00 p.m.Important:
