Senior Director - Living Services Integrated Supports for Living, Inc - 2.9 Salem, OR Job Details 1 day ago Benefits Health savings account Paid holidays Dental insurance Flexible spending account Paid time off Vision insurance 403(b) Life insurance Qualifications Program development Driver's License Full Job Description The Senior Director of Living Services is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of IS Living's program operations. This includes, but is not limited to, Specialized Contracts with APD (Aging and People with Disabilities) supporting individuals with traumatic brain injury, 24-Hour Residential Programs for adults , and Employment and Day Support programs for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD). IS Living's person-centered approach ensures that individuals are supported along a continuum of care that promotes autonomy, dignity, and meaningful community inclusion . Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership for all departmental programs, ensuring achievement of performance goals and outcomes. Maintain all program licenses, endorsements, and regulatory compliance with Federal, State, and Local standards, ensuring programs meet monthly, quarterly, and annual benchmarks. Lead and collaborate with Residential Managers and program teams , ensuring effective supervision, accountability, and performance management. Oversee employee relations processes—including performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations—in partnership with Human Resources, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and organizational policies. Partner with the Human Resources to support: Recruitment and hiring Promotions and transfers Orientation and training Workforce planning and scheduling Staff development and engagement Provide leadership in team development, culture building, and performance excellence . Work closely with the Chief Operations Officer, Finance Manager, and Residential Managers to: Develop and manage program budgets Monitor financial performance and variance reporting Ensure fiscal accountability and sustainability Conduct analysis and present recommendations for new program development and program improvements . Ensure accuracy and compliance in billing and financial documentation . Minimum Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in education, special education, psychology, social services, nursing, or a related field from an accredited program, and at least 3 years of progressive managerial experience in community DD programs (preferably residential services); OR Associate's degree in a related field and at least 10 years of progressive managerial experience in community DD programs; OR More than 10 years of progressive managerial experience, with at least 7 years in community DD programs, demonstrating strong leadership and program development expertise.
Required Experience Includes:
Evaluation and program planning for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities or brain injury Behavioral management Long- and short-term support planning Core Competencies Highly organized, disciplined, and results-driven Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams Demonstrated business and operational management expertise Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners Strong systems-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) Proven strategic planning capability Additional Requirements Successful completion of ODHS Criminal Background Check (Orchards) and drug screening Possess current driver's license, with acceptable driving record. OIS (Oregon Intervention System) Oversight Certification, including administrative review of physical interventions We have a greatbenefits package for our employees!
