Job Description
The Director of Housing Programs oversees Permanent Supportive Housing, Coordinated Entry, and Street Outreach programs, ensuring compliance with HUD regulations and effective service delivery. They collaborate with third-party providers, manage budgets, and develop strategies to expand housing opportunities and improve client outcomes
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides leadership and oversight for Permanent Supportive Housing, Coordinated Entry, and Street Outreach programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Meet regularly with program managers and staff to assess performance, address challenges, and implement improvements. Provides training and support to program staff to ensure a clear understanding of regulations and effective program management. Collaborates with third-party providers and community partners to coordinate and expand housing opportunities for clients. Ensures compliance with HUD regulations and other federal, state, and local housing guidelines. Develops and manages budgets for housing programs, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to funding requirements. Monitors and evaluates program outcomes, reporting progress to senior leadership and funding agencies as required. Attends housing-related meetings, events, and conferences to advocate for program needs and build strategic partnerships. Develops and implements policies, procedures, and best practices for housing programs to improve service delivery and client outcomes.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in business, MBA preferred. Applicants must have 2 years of management experience.
