Executive Director Help Expand Affordable Housing Across Wisconsin The Wisconsin Partnership for Housing Development (WPHD) is seeking a highly organized, mission-driven Associate Director to help advance affordable housing solutions across Wisconsin. This newly created leadership position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of housing advocacy, affordable housing development, and strategic organizational growth. WPHD WPHD
is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing affordable housing opportunities through development, advocacy, technical assistance, and partnerships. What You'll Do Housing Advocacy Leadership (35%) Lead and coordinate statewide affordable housing advocacy initiatives. Support governance committees, workgroups, and member engagement. Organize advocacy campaigns, legislative meetings, policy briefings, and public education efforts. Monitor state and federal housing policy developments. Coordinate planning and implementation of an annual affordable housing conference. Support fundraising, sponsorships, grants, and advocacy communications. Affordable Housing Development Support (45%) Assist with affordable housing development projects across Wisconsin. Conduct feasibility research and coordinate project partners. Help prepare funding applications, RFP responses, budgets, and project documentation. Manage project schedules, compliance requirements, and stakeholder communications. Support projects through planning, financing, construction, and post-development phases. Strategic Projects & Operations (20%) Lead special projects that advance WPHD's mission. Support organizational planning and process improvement. Coordinate events, convenings, and stakeholder engagement efforts. Assist with cross-functional organizational initiatives. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated project management experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Commitment to affordable housing and community development. Preferred 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience with affordable housing development or housing finance programs. Familiarity with Wisconsin housing policy or legislative advocacy. Grant writing and fundraising experience. Master's degree in a related field.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
