Job Description

The City of Calvert, Texas is currently seeking a City Administrator. The ideal candidate will be a professional with outstanding integrity, judgement and management skills. The City Administrator should have a highly successful career with a proven record of leadership in guiding and developing an organization. This individual must inspire, motivate, and empower staff to achieve the goals and objectives of the City Council. Economic development and urban planning experience is a plus. Population 962. Benefits- TMRS 7%, 2-1 City Match; medical insurance 100% for employee; salary commensurable with experience
Qualifications:
Experience in local government with at least two (2) years of executive management experience. Prior or current experience as a City Administrator or City Manager, Assistant City Administrator/Manager or combination of public and private sector experience will be favorably considered. Economic Development and urban planning experience is a plus.
