Onsite Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Tuesday 10:30am to 6:30pm with room for flexibility/coverage as needed.Location:
175 Fulton Ave in Hempstead, Suite 403 What drives the core purpose of this job: The Program Director provides leadership and oversight for a NYS OASAS-certified Part 822 outpatient treatment program. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based substance use disorder services in compliance with all applicable regulations. The Program Director is responsible for program operations, clinical supervision, quality assurance, and strategic growth initiatives. What are the keyResponsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the outpatient program from planning and implementation to evaluation. Develop, revise, and maintain program policies, procedures, clinical protocols, and workflows in compliance with OASAS Part 822 and other applicable mandates. Conduct individual, family and group counseling sessions as needed. Conduct and oversee comprehensive treatment planning, clinical assessments and other daily program operations. Provide on-site daily consultation and supervision for treatment staff and clinical interns. Ensure delivery of person-centered, culturally responsive treatment using evidence-based practices, including co-occurring and trauma-informed care. Coordinate staff caseload assignments and services. Assign and participate in emergency coverage and crisis intervention. Maintain client files and review case records of all program clients a minimum of every thirty days to ensure that the quality standards of program services are met. Review all correspondence being sent from the program. Utilize the educational training, skills and experience obtained from advanced degree to provide appropriate professional services, techniques and strategies for clients. Coordinate all required in-service training. Coordinate hiring of all treatment staff. Customarily and regularly exercise discretionary powers. Institute new groups as appropriate to enhance the range of program services. Lead strategic planning to expand services, improve effectiveness, and promote program growth. Conduct outreach to the community to provide information on available program services. Conduct random drug tests on clients as needed to determine compliance. Oversee billing practices ensuring accurate billing and documentation is being completed. Ensure compliance withNYS OASAS
regulations, including timely submission of required reports. Work with Compliance Manager on quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives and monitor program effectiveness and compliance. What key knowledge, skills, and abilities are required to excel in this role: A Qualified Health Professional (QHP), preferably with a Master's Degree in Social Work or Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology required, with a license to practice in New York State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Psychologist. Possessing and maintaining a current and valid professional license/certification relevant to the position is a condition of employment and required for the position. Minimum of three years of treatment experience in addiction services area required, ideally within an OASAS-certified Part 822 outpatient program, with at least one year of supervisory experience. Completion of the Clinical Supervision Foundations I & II training, or ability to complete training within one year of hire. Bilingual Spanish a plus. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required. Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments. Must have access to automobile and possess valid NY State Driver's License. Must provide proof of valid NYS car insurance and Defensive Driving Certificate within 30 days of hire. Valid registration, inspection and Automobile Insurance Liability of a recommended minimum of 100,000/300,000 will also be evaluated upon hire.What We Offer Comprehensive Benefits Package:
